Gluten-free Products
When I first went GF, finding reliable – tried and true – information about what was safe was really difficult.
It still is. As a result, I don’t eat a huge amount of processed foods. I generally prefer to try to eat whole foods as the ingredients in a pear or apple are never going to change.
But occasionally I take chances and eat products that appear to be safe without always calling the company. Would I probably get sick less often if I never took chances? Yes. But I’ve also discovered a lot of safe products this way.
Below are some of my staples: gluten-free, corn-free, xanthan gum-free. I will remove products if I start having problems with them.

Notes:
9/14/09 – removed Oikos. It was pointed out that Stoneyfield does not list Oikos on their GF product list even though it sure looks GF. I’ve had some tummy upset on the days I’ve eaten it recently so to be safe, I’m going to avoid it for now.
11/29/09 – removed Rice Chex.
2/4/10 – added Oikos back. Now certified GF.

Have you tried the Udi products? Their bread is great and tastes the closest to the real thing (IMO) and they make a tasty pizza crust.
